I'd like to post a list of inspectors NOT to mess with. I know a few around the country but not as many as you. Making a list of inspectors that are educationally challenged could be grounds for a lawsuit. So lets make one where is the inspector is one on the list better run and hide.

I think Bob Higgins is one I'd hide from, but not sure if he is even certified by anyone. He is one of those rare individuals who is just smarter than the average joe about what he does.

i keep little notes of everything. started in windows3.1.. cardfile, i keep every serial & model # of everything and what repair was done. started the file in 98, found out it only held 1054 "cards". you can put any info on any card, search any phrase or letter/number combination. you can make a "card" for any jobsite, client, whatever.
keep a journal of every job, like selva said, deliveries, weather conditions, etc.

it's been tested to over 1 million cards. i have cards that are pages long if i were to print them. i keep a repair record for every customer. you can have multiple files, i have another file for my phone book. mama can have a recipe file. LOL
you can add an email address to the card, click it, it opens mail. same with www whatever or will even link to phone dialer. i paid $15 for it 6-7 yrs ago, sure it's more now but i use it everyday, no probs.
