Let's talk flooring!

I know what they call this type of material in Japanese, but often the way they call something here is different than it is in the US. I want to use the correct terms when describing different types of flooring, so what would you call this?

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, It looks like rotary peeled or sliced Oak veneer plank. A clearer shot of the side would be nice, looks like 3-ply. Also looks like paneling But a little too thick. It is flooring, yes?
Yeah, it's a piece of flooring. I'll get a better shot of it on Monday and post it. We use this type of flooring as our mainstay for demonstrating our coating and showing at exhibitions.
Yeah, trying to figure out what to call each type of wood has been an uphill battle. Like I said before, the fact that in Japan they call it something else doesn't help. I have some other types of flooring too, not wood, and I'll post those on Monday as well. Thanks
Alright, so here are two pictures of the boards we use for demos.

What is the magnification level on that "board side 2.jpg" shot?

I don't know what I would call that. Looks like all glue to me.
