Let's talk flooring!

Stock hose is 1.5". When I took the stock hose adapter off the front of it there was a 2 1/4" hole there which fits the shopvac attachments you can get at lowes. I bought a 90* brush, removed the brush and pushed it through the 2 1/4" hole from the inside aimed down at a 45* angle(like the stock one was).

Thanks E
E, I have the same thing setup except I used silicone around the edge of the new fitting it kept pushing back in to the container now it works great it's more powerful now with the set up. I talked to Ceno they told me 3 motors on the machine will suck the container in also I talked to them about putting a better cord on the machine Good Job E

Bill I installed a new cord on my Ceno about 6 months ago. It works great. I installed a yellow 10/3 cord and it runs way cooler and the cords never gets hot like the original.
To this day, I still cannot find an adaptor (I have the same hose as you E) to plug my hose into the top of the Dust deputy port, Its top port is 1 3/4 (inside measurement) and everything I come across is too small or too big. Any ideas?
Here's what I did:

Plumbing boots and a 2" vent 90* elbow connected to sears/rigid/shopvac couplings. If that tight turn bothers ya just get a long sweep 90...
Great setup E, well done.......
What's the matter, Everett - couldn't you find any black PVC fittings? Your professional image is slipping fast ;) The pressure equalization hose coming off the elbow does look real sharp though. How did you hook it to the bottom of the drum?
Slipping fast? How could it get any lower??! lol

It's all AN fittings from summit and stainless braided fuel line, goes through the bottom of the drum with a bulkhead connector, then to a short length of aluminum fuel line. They make quick-disconnect fittings for it but they were a bit pricey, so I have to unscrew it every time.

I agree, these would have been much better:

Only thing I gotta say is, going from 1 1/2" to a 2" isn't gonna help. It's restricted from the get-go. They do make a 2" cyclone now, it's taller as well. I got one for my Oneida. It helped, but it's still a piece of shit.
The main purpose of that DD is the 1.5" hose for the hummel on-board cyclone, but sometimes I need to use a 2" hose with it so it has capability for both.
K. You should look into the 2" upgrade. Pickup is way better than the 1 1/2". The bigger hose is kinda a pita tho.
The dust in my cyclone just kinda "flies" around, doesn't really "cyclone". Because of that, my filters are plugged. Have to stop every couple of hours to clean them.
Anybody else have this problem?
I called Oneida about it. They said it isn't designed for the type of paper I'm using.
Ben what kind of vaccums do you use?
For my edgers I use a Beam cetral vac. Had it for like 12 years, worked great til they changed the material the filter is made of, too thin, now it leaks thru to the motors.

For the BM I have the Oneida 2 hp pump cart. Not happy with it.
