Let's talk flooring!

Do you avoid it all together or do some of you do it when needed.  Heard alot of horror stories over the years and know some guys who just gave up on it.. Just curious..

My mind is always open and I eagerly await your BS on BS ;) LOL

Btw: You're still my hero ;)
I appreciate your patients, while I'm at it I will explain why the bundles are stacked even on one side.

The BS on the BS?? this comment is a bit contradictory of a open mind don't think?

Glad I didn't loose my status!! ;)
What would be contracdictory in my BS on BS statement? Having an open mind to something not tried and with a logical, common sense approach behind it is one thing..........But having employed said proceedure and seeing the wasted effort............;)

I'm sure the DC trip should be...uummmmm....Interesting ;)
Talk is cheap my friend ;)

so is holding on to old outdated methods LOL
Btw Part Duex:

Robbins developed an automatic flooring nailer that touted a specific sqft per day that a single man could install.....Your's truly kinda debunked it and even told my employer at the time that I would fly out to where ever that footage was being seen and learn how, if it could be done I would never critique those expectations again AND kiss his lily white ass!

That nailer hasn't been used by them since and my lips never touched his ass ;) LOL

You make your cross cuts with the miter guide. The problem part is when you use the fence as a guide on board cross cuts. You can get it out of square and jambed between the fence and the blade. That is when it can throw the board back at you like a missile. Just keep the fence away from the board you are cross cutting with the miter guide and the scrap gets left sitting next to the blade. Stephen must be trying to push the board sideways by hand between the fence and blade. That is how he can get the ambulance ride to Tucson Medical Center and see if his medical insurance card is still good. Otherwise the table saw is no problem.

Hey Al...ya ole bastard lol No fence for me, sorry takes to long to set up. I just mark it and make my cut. Course why would I use the table saw when my mS is sitting right next to it on a a table??

And no more TMC for me, they took 7 hours to stitch me up last time I tried to cut my arm off. lol
i do, but i think the question should be, what kinda moron cuts his fingers of on a table saw?
Finger stay away from the blade. Both hands stay on the same side of the blade.
I have a push stick, too.
