Let's talk flooring!
off topic - St Baldricks
Ok, As you all know, not only am I a floor guy, but a firefighter. I am running a shaving our head a thon with all donations going to cancer research for kids. ON March 15, Ill shave bald again. I do it every year. You see, my nephew , at a 1 1/2 was diagnosed with stage 4 neroblastoma. Cancer thru out his body. Anyway to make a long story short, he is 7 now, in remission, still has a little in him but so far, ok. 100% of the proceeds go to cancer research. They actually built a kids cancer wing at dana farber in boston from the money raised from this.
Now Im done with the story. Im hoping some of you can donate, and all of you can spread the word and link to who ever you know. I think its a good cause.

I saw it. Thanks alot. My sister in law made a web site for him http://teambrent.com/ . It explains everything to everyone so they all just look. I thnk she was getting tired of explaining the story. But the team brent "team" is the biggest fund raiser for the st baldricks.
Brent still has a lump around the base of his spine but they cant touch it because of the chance of paralysis. They just had a scare of a spot on his liver. they are going thru testing now. He had so much chemo that his body cant take any more. Lucky for him, he cant remember the treatments.
Im trying to grow the billy ray cyrus mullet but I have a long way to go. Its all coming off in march anyway.

I would but just found out last week I have colon cancer. So $ might be short.
Went for a battery of tests today, found out it has not spread past my lower intestine. Next step is cut it out along with a 7 day hospital stay, then off work for 6 to 8 weeks. Just hired an underemployed floor guy to fill in for me.
Starting a job Monday to see if he works out. Fun Fun...................... -

Well,, we are off to a good start. Alot of people signed up and some i dont even know. Even though we are having the head shaving here, anyone can sign up, raise money and shave at a different location. Im growing my hair out now, its getting a little froey. I just hope march isnt a cold month. Im going to need a "new floormasters" knit hat.
