Me: Well it must be your cleaner
HO: No it's not it's your finish
Then I make the trip out and wipe the floor down with DA or Goof off and amazing the floor isn't slippery any more.....
I thoroughly enjoy when Im driving.. someone rolls down their window and yells.. "Hey... yo!! How much a square foot!!!????"...
Ok.... welllll.. How much if we stain and finish it?

I just did a floor where we installed a Bedroom and Office floor, then buffed and coated the Kitchen/ foyer. The HO said that she decided to buff-n-coat the Kitchen/ foyer because there were gaps in the floor......LOL
Nice Floor btw, Tiger wood?
Permalink Reply by Mike Peterson on October 7, 2011 at 4:53pm I guess it's not a regional issue.People ask the same ridiculous questions no matter where you are.I've devoted some time lately to perfecting my smart ass answers.seems like the only logical approach.Frankly it's the legitimate questions that I'm getting tired of responding to.

I like when I present a proposal and I'm asked if that is my best price, inside my smart ass answer is looking to come out and say "No I lied to you the 1st time around"...but professionalism quells my inner smart ass lol

Permalink Reply by Dale Rosilio on November 12, 2011 at 11:03am Just had one recently where the customer walked the floor and kept pointing out the overwood, I asked if I could sand and finish the floor 1st?
Permalink Reply by Tim Devery on November 14, 2011 at 4:55pm Had 1 like that, when I came back Monday for sanding. they had about 100 pieces of sticky notes with arrows pointing to small voids and overwood. I said, "So you never had a sanded on site floor before"
