Videos - People Are Lazy

Internet videos are on the rise. Folks would rather watch than read. Call it web 2.0 that many of you may be hearing about. I've been playing around with creating one that deals with replacing a hardwood floor board. Quality photos is they key if you want to add some still shots, which I did in the YouTube video below. Still shots yes, quality...hardly. Pics were taken at the NWFA convention eariler this year. Lighting was poor and of course I had the wrong setting on the camera.

Tip: Good Selling Point For Hardwood Installers

I thought about this topic because it may be a great angle in getting more hardwood jobs for installers. We all hear the talk about this engineered floor can be refinished one, two, and three times blah, blah, blah. That’s what the manufacturers, dealers, and salespeople say, but does anyone go as far as educating the buyer if it can be refinished that many times? Much has to do with sub floor flatness.
