This isn't really that funny, it's actually kinda sad.

I usually charge more for that much repair work than to replace most if not all the floor. It's too tedious and time consuming to lace all that in and connect it.

The part that had the natural finished rectangle where an island was has already been torn out, and yes we're going to have to shave a few rows to meet back up with the other doorway(or get out the old board stretcher lol). The problem now is that the current contractor assured us that he was going to "fix" the osb by blocking it up between the joists somehow so that we can properly build parallel to the joists in that area, nothing has been done as of today, If they'd just let us do it we would have plywooded it by now. There's some foot dragging going on...

I agree with SP, but it's difficult to see the entire layout. So the large area(beginning of video) that parallels the other larger area will connect? Probably have to do some creative table saw work to get the rows lined up.

That's why you're there..to fix the screw ups. You're the professional! Good luck

Well there's a lot more floor than what I show on this video. We priced it both ways and it was way cheaper to do it this way. Funny thing, originally they wanted us to just do the repairs and install and not sand the rest- do some kind of blending/stain matching..... ummm no. LOL

Really hard to justify the time on all the repair. Rip it all out.
