Let's talk flooring!
Quartersawn white oak refinish
http://www.indyvirtuoso.com/ This was a 1/2" thick quartersawn white oak floor that had been sanded at least once before. Finished with Bona drifast oil sealer and topped with Poloplaz Primero satin.
