Dan,

Two days start to finish with one guy helping me. Joe and I were both there on Thursday to set nails and sand the existing subfloor, install the new luan over the existing subfloor with the Green Glue sandwhiched in between. We also started the bamboo getting 5 rows in or about 30sqft. The 2nd day I was me by my Lonesome { Joe and his Dad won tickets to the Notre Dame/ Navy game in South bend today, so they were on the road yesterday at 7am } I installed the remaining 380 sqft of flooring and did several repairs to the 5/16 flooring in the hall. Had everything cleaned up by 4:30 and a beer in hand by 5 ;) LOL

The manufacturer said that was enough and that the tube application was there recommended application method. I talked to them by phone directly, I also stated the same coverage concern. They asured me that 100 % coverage wasn't necessary and believe me, after using it I'd have rather troweled it, would've been far more efficient........

Dale how long did that install take you from start to finish? Also is it just one guy you have helping you?

That can't be enough glue to make any type of sound barrier. lol Why is it not trowel on? You showed us a bucket and you use tubes?
